We may not have sandy beaches and warm turquoise blue water, but we have all the seaweed and kelp you could ever ask for. We had a great time today.

Memorial Day
We went on a great little hike with the Brock family (and Courtney). We blazed the trails around Bowman's Bay. As Karen told Seth today; "this is why we live in Washington".

Goin' Fishin'
Parker's preschool class had a fishing field trip to a neat little pond near Big Lake. Thank goodness Uncle Alan was there to help remove the hooks from our fish. (Not Mom's thing). A great outing for all!

Claire Bear
We love taking pictures of our little Claire. She is going to be out of this baby phase too soon, so we are trying to capture as many precious moments as we can.

2nd Grade Field Trip
The Edison Elementary 2nd grade classes went on a field trip to the Pacific Science Center. I had the chance to go with Lauren and take part in all of the fun. We rode the train into Seattle, explored the science center and hopped the monorail to down town. Lauren said the highlights of the day were the laser show, the fountain at the Seattle Center and spending time with her friends on the train ride home. It was really nice to spend the whole day with Lauren.
